Francisco Pizarro, the first governor of Peru, had the 'Casa de los Cuatro Bustos' built by Inca laborers as his own palace. In 1976 it was renovated and it recently transformed into the Hotel Libertador. The hotel has 214 very comfortable rooms and is located in the center of Cuzco.
